A modular R2R coating system is available for the application of organic nanolayers and nanolayer systems as well as functional, protective and barrier layers. The technology is based on wet coating with slot die coating. Low-viscosity polymers and composites with special electrical, optical and mechanical properties for applications e.g. in photovoltaics, polymer electronics or sensors and actuators can be applied to flexible plastic, metal or paper substrates with little material input.
