Exposure and weathering test
Exposure and weathering testing offers the possibility to expose samples to temperature changes, humidity and irradiation. This allows a practical environmental simulation to be generated.
This test provides information about the change in physical and chemical properties of components under different weather conditions (e.g. heat and cold, rain, UV radiation).
The following measuring device is available:
- Exposure and weathering tester Xenotest 440 (Atlas MTS)
- 2 x 2200 W air-cooled xenon lamps
- 2310 cm² exposure area
- Adjustment and control of irradiance, black standard temperature, relative humidity, chamber air temperature
- Temperature range: 10 °C to 115 °C
- Humidity range: 10 %rh to 75 %rh
- Sample spray systems (60 l water reservoir deionised)
