The new training year at the TITK Group Rudolstadt began at the beginning of August with four new apprentices and four new hires after successfully completing their apprenticeships. One chemical technician at the institute completed his professional education particularly successfully and has now the opportunity to receive a further training scholarship as part of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research's funding program.
On Friday, Managing Director Benjamin Redlingshöfer traditionally welcomed the new colleagues at a ceremony at the Research Institute. The prospective chemical laboratory technicians Lena Garcia and Elisa Schippling and the prospective textile laboratory technician Linda Würbach were welcomed in a festive ceremony by their trainers and received small gifts, flowers and a cordial invitation to the anniversary event that will take place shortly. The prospective chemical technician Jonas Burkhardt has already started his new phase of life at the Olefinpartner Schkopau training association and at the Leuna vocational school. He will then complete his first days at the local training company in Rudolstadt in autumn.
Linda Würbach became aware of TITK last September at inKontakt in Bad Blankenburg and, following the job fair at which the institute is regularly represented, familiarized herself with the working environment of a textile laboratory technician through an internship and then applied to TITK. Lena Garcia also did an internship to find out more about the job description of a chemical laboratory technician and her future training company. Elisa Schippling took a different route to TITK: she initially began studying geosciences. During the course of her studies, however, she became more and more interested in the analytical and experimental areas of chemistry and so a reorientation was inevitable for her.
Of course, the Managing Director likes to hear that: "Nothing is as constant as change," he encouraged the young people and encouraged his new colleagues to always remain curious and to question things openly. This is the only way to develop together. And the TITK Group offers young people every opportunity to do this. "After completing their training, they can go on to become a technician or a master craftsman. With us, you also have a range of career prospects and you can rely on our support."
This year, a young employee, Lukas Maschen, was nominated by the Gera Chamber of Industry and Commerce for an application for the further education scholarship, a funding program of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, after completing his training as a chemical technician with particular success. "We are proud to have been able to offer our apprentice Lukas a high-quality STEM education with the best prospects and will continue to actively support him and his fellow trainees in their development in the future," concluded Benjamin Redlingshöfer at the end of the ceremony.
The TITK Group currently counts a total of 8 trainees. The next opportunity for an apprenticeship in business-related textile and plastics research will be available next year. There will be a vacancy for an apprenticeship as a chemical laboratory technician and a plastics and rubber technologist. Applications for the STEM professions can be made immediately at personal@titk.de. We will also be happy to answer any questions about vocational training in the TITK Group or other vacancies at this e-mail address.
